Instagram equips Reels videos with text-to-speech capability

To attract TickTock users, Instagram launched the Reels section months ago, and now, with the introduction of two new features, it intends to attract more TickTock app users. One of the new features is the ability to convert text to speech for videos.

When users type the text for Reels videos, they can use the ability to convert this text to audio, which currently has two voices for this feature. Although this feature is very useful for people with visual impairments, it is mainly used in ticketing to make videos more attractive.

In addition to this feature, Instagram has announced that Reels users can now use several sound effects to change their voice. Examples of these effects include helium, reporter, robot, and reader options.

In general, Instagram is very interested in copying the features of other applications. For example, the story section, which is now a key part of the app, was copied from Snapshot. The Reels section itself is similar to the TikTok app. Despite these measures, ticketing continues to grow in various countries and has a large following, especially among adolescents.
