By paying the subscription fee, users will be able to stop broadcasting advertisements in Telegram

Telegram started airing advertisements on major channels with more than 1,000 members in early November. Today, the CEO of this company announced a plan to buy a subscription in order to cancel the display of advertisements.

Telegram CEO Pavel Durov said in a post on his Russian channel that many users wanted the ability to disable ads on the messenger. For this reason, he announced two new changes in this application: 1) Users can stop displaying ads for themselves. 2) Channel managers can stop showing ads on their channels.

Dvorov says the company has been working on the first feature for some time and plans to make it available to users in a few weeks. This feature allows the user to directly support Telegram for a reasonable subscription fee and no longer see ads anywhere.

Regarding the second change, the CEO of Telegram announced that the company is still evaluating the economic conditions in order to implement a possibility that can stop the advertisements on the channels. By doing this, channel managers can also block ads on their channels for a fee.

Pavel Durov says the company continues to work on features that users want. According to him, the desire of users and content producers will be the first priority of this company in different stages of Telegram development. The above two features are still under construction and have not been made public.
Telegram initially claimed that their messengers would always remain free and would never display advertisements. But now, given the significant increase in the number of users of this application and the problems that arose for the supply of digital tokens of this company, it seems that there is no other way but advertisements to generate income and cover expenses.
