Start testing the ability to share Facebook posts on Instagram

Facebook has previously introduced the ability to share Instagram stories and reels on Facebook. The company is currently testing the opposite of this feature to publish Facebook posts on the social network Instagram.

Instagram has recently been equipped with a feature that allows users to share their Facebook posts on this social network. With this feature, Facebook wants to make sure that Instagram also receives enough content and is able to satisfy users, especially teenagers, in competition with Tic Tac and Snapshot.

Facebook says the feature has not been officially announced yet and only a limited number of users have access to it on a trial basis. If you have connected your Facebook account to Instagram and this feature is available to you, you can see the relevant option on the Facebook posting page. This option is located next to the section that allows you to specify the audience of your post or create an album.

When you click on this option, a new page will open in front of you, which will allow you to share the same post on Instagram. Facebook reminds you that these settings will only apply to the current post and will not be converted to the default Facebook settings.

But if you want to change your account default settings, you can go to Accounts Center and tell Facebook that you want all posts to be shared on Instagram from now on. It should be noted that Facebook had previously made it possible for you to publish Facebook stories on Instagram.

At the same time, sharing posts on Facebook and Instagram is only possible for single images and videos or albums with up to 10 images. Other content formats, such as gifs, polls, and albums with more than 10 images, cannot be uploaded to Instagram at the same time via Facebook.
