A new feature in WhatsApp – manage the content of the backup file

WhatsApp is apparently working on optimizing this feature by adding a new “Backup Volume Management” button so that users can specify which contents to back up when choosing their own devices.

The ability to back up chats in iCloud / Google Drive is useful when switching devices. WhatsApp seems to be adding new features to the backup feature. WhatsApp version 2.21.21.7 for Android users is equipped with a backup volume management button that allows users to specify which items they want to back up, according to the WABetaInfo website.

As a result, users can specify the chat content of their choice only from videos, photos or documents, and other backup files. In fact, users can specify exactly what they want in the backup so that the backup file contains such content.

The new feature is apparently being tested for Android users, and it is unclear when it will be available to all users. But this feature is expected to be available for users of both Android and iOS operating systems. It remains to be seen when WhatsApp will finally make the new feature available to users.

This is not the only feature that WhatsApp develops, and in addition, it works on a feature to stop and resume recording voice messages so that you can stop recording while recording voice messages and then send them again without having to send a separate message. Record the same message.

WhatsApp is also working on a new feature called Community, based on information from an APK file. However, we still can not say for sure whether this feature is something like social media or a kind of chat room.
